Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare budget forecasts and assist in financial planning.
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
Conduct internal audits and support external audits.
Analyze financial trends and provide insights to management.
Maintain confidentiality of financial data and support data backups.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accountant or similar role.
Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures (e.g., GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, FreshBooks) and MS Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
