We are a well-established construction company based in

Dubai

, currently looking for a skilled and detail-oriented

Accountant

with solid experience in the

construction and contracting sector

. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in handling project-based accounting, cost control, and financial reporting related to construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations for construction projects Prepare and review project budgets, cost tracking, and financial forecasts Handle accounts payable and receivable in line with construction contract terms Ensure accurate job costing, billing, and revenue recognition Perform bank reconciliations and month-end/year-end closings Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and other applicable laws Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters Prepare financial reports for management review Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum 3 years of accounting experience in the

construction/contracting industry

Strong understanding of project-based accounting and job costing Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) Solid knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written) High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Preferred:

Experience working in Dubai or the GCC region Familiarity with UAE-specific accounting standards Arabic language skills are an advantage

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
