Job Qualifications

Professional Experience

Minimum 1-2 years of accounting experience in an auto workshop, garage, or automotive spare parts business

Proven experience handling:

Workshop job cards and service billing Spare parts sales and service invoices Cash, credit, and insurance-based transactions Strong background in UAE VAT (5%) compliance, FTA filing, and audit requirements

Core Accounting & Technical Skills

End-to-end accounting knowledge including:

General Ledger (GL) Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR) Bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
Cost accounting for:

Spare parts, lubricants, and consumables Inventory accounting and stock control for auto spare parts and workshop materials Fixed asset management (garage equipment, tools, machinery) Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar) Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial analysis)

Automotive Workshop Knowledge

Strong understanding of:

Job cards, work orders, and service estimates Actual vs estimated repair cost analysis Warranty repairs and insurance claim documentation
Revenue tracking and reporting for:

Mechanical and electrical repairs Body & paint works Spare parts sales Workshop expense monitoring and cost control

Compliance & Reporting

Preparation and filing of VAT returns in line with UAE FTA regulations Maintenance of VAT documentation and tax invoices
Preparation of:

Monthly financial statements Management reports (MIS) Profitability and cost analysis reports Coordination with external auditors and regulatory authorities Ensuring compliance with UAE labor, tax, and financial regulations

Professional & Soft Skills

High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work closely with workshop managers, service advisors, and management Excellent organizational and time-management skills Professional communication and confidentiality

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
