Job Description

Key responsibilities

Financial reporting:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, often presenting them to leadership.

Healthcare-specific accounting:

Handle the financial aspects of healthcare operations, such as patient billing, insurance claims, and payroll.

Audits and compliance:

Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with healthcare and accounting regulations.

Financial controls:

Develop and implement internal controls to protect assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.

Month-end close:

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.

Strategic planning:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on long-term financial strategies.
