Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial transactions, ensure compliance with UAE laws, and support accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and documentation

Record day-to-day financial transactions and reconcile accounts

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Handle UAE VAT accounting, filing, and compliance

Prepare and submit VAT returns as per FTA requirements

Reconcile bank statements and cash flows

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

Manage accounts payable and receivable

Support internal and external audits

Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies

Coordinate with auditors, banks, and tax consultants

Requirements & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Proven experience as an Accountant in the UAE

Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and FTA regulations

Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho, etc.)

Advanced MS Excel skills

High attention to detail and accuracy

Knowledge of UAE corporate tax

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

Professional certification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CMA)

Experience with VAT audits and filings
