- Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking an Arabic-speaking Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, financial auditing, and VAT & Tax compliance. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting audit and tax requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger management. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UAE accounting standards. Ensure timely submission of VAT returns and compliance with UAE tax regulations. Assist in internal and external audits by preparing necessary reports and documentation. Monitor accounts payable and receivable, and maintain accurate records. Support management with financial analysis and reports for decision-making. Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of accounting experience in UAE (preferably in auditing and VAT & Tax). Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and corporate tax framework. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or similar). Excellent Excel and MS Office skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
Preferred:

Experience in an auditing or consulting firm. Knowledge of IFRS standards. UAE Driving License (optional).
