Key Responsibilities
Manage accounting operations for managed properties and real estate portfolios
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for landlords, tenants, and properties
Handle rent collection postings, service charges, and utility allocations
Prepare landlord statements and tenant account reconciliations
Manage accounts payable and receivable related to properties
Reconcile bank accounts and escrow/client accounts
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in budget preparation for properties and service charges
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations related to real estate transactions
Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
Coordinate with property management, leasing, and operations teams
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in
property management or real estate accounting
Strong understanding of real estate financial processes and reporting
Knowledge of UAE VAT laws (mandatory)
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple properties and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in property management systems (e.g., Yardi, Property Finder accounting modules, or similar)
Experience handling service charge and trust/client accounts
Prior experience in UAE real estate market
