Role Summary

We are looking for a full-time Accountant with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in

Odoo Accounting

to manage day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate books, and support monthly closing and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate books of accounts in

Odoo Accounting

(AP, AR, GL). Record transactions, post journal entries, and ensure accurate ledger management. Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and manage customer/vendor ledgers. Support inventory control in Odoo by ensuring stock movements,

Goods Received Notes

, deliveries, and inventory adjustments are accurately recorded and reconciled with accounting (including periodic stock counts and variance reporting). Process payments, track collections, and manage payables/receivables. Perform bank, cash, and ledger reconciliations regularly. Support month-end and year-end closing activities and reporting. Prepare monthly financial reports and summaries for management review. Ensure compliance with

UAE VAT

requirements and maintain proper supporting documentation. Support

UAE Corporate Tax

compliance and filing requirements (including documentation and coordination). Assist with audit requirements and provide accounting data when requested. Coordinate with management on reporting, budgeting, and cost tracking. Be available and willing to support the team with other operational/admin tasks as needed.
Requirements

2 to 3 years of accounting experience with strong proficiency in

Odoo Accounting

(must-have) within the

building materials trading

industry. Must be currently based in the UAE and

immediately available

to work in

KEZAD, Abu Dhabi

, with

own transport

. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA/CPA/CA). Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Knowledge of

UAE VAT

compliance and filing. Experience supporting

UAE Corporate Tax

compliance and filing is required. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Ability to follow processes, meet deadlines, and work independently.
