We are a contracting company looking for a qualified
Accountant
to manage daily accounting operations, VAT submissions, and financial record keeping using
Tally
. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally software and a solid understanding of UAE VAT laws and accounting procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Record day-to-day financial transactions in
Tally
.
Prepare and maintain
ledgers, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
.
Handle
VAT calculations, filing, and compliance
as per UAE regulations.
Maintain and organize
accounts payable and receivable records
.
Assist in preparing
monthly and yearly financial statements
.
Support management with financial reports and cost tracking.
Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely submission of required documents.
Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all accounting matters.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in
Accounting, Finance, or related field
.
2-4 years of accounting experience
, preferably in a
contracting or construction company
.
Proficiency in
Tally
(mandatory).
Strong knowledge of
UAE VAT rules and filing procedures
.
Good command of
MS Excel and basic accounting principles
.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.
Salary & Benefits:
