The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, local accounting experience, and a proactive approach to supporting the company's growth. This role combines technical accounting expertise with a practical understanding of budgeting, reporting, and financial planning within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Responsibilities will include the preparation of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS),
ensuring accuracy, transparency, and regulatory compliance in all financial reporting.
Responsibilities :
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and timely VAT filings
Monitor cash flow and ensure proper financial controls are in place
Coordinate with auditors and external consultants as needed
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
Support management with financial insights and analysis
Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements
Perform other related tasks as required by the finance team or management
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
3-4 years of accounting experience within the UAE (marketing/advertising industry experience is a plus)
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and accounting standards
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or similar)
Excellent MS Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
UAE Driving License
Ability to Commute/Relocate
