Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Officer to manage our company's financial records and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update general ledger and financial records
Handle accounts payable and receivable
Prepare bank reconciliations and manage petty cash
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
Process payments, verify transactions, and ensure timely settlements
Support external and internal audits
Maintain accurate documentation for all financial transactions
Assist with payroll and employee reimbursements
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar role
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally, or ERP systems)
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Good communication skills
