Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized

Accountant with audit experience

to manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and assist in internal/external audits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, auditing practices, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and statements. Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Support statutory audits, internal audits, and compliance checks. Ensure compliance with IFRS / GAAP and local tax regulations. Assist in developing and implementing internal financial controls. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to management. Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders as required. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is an advantage). Minimum of

3-5 years of accounting experience

, with at least

1-2 years in audit

(internal or external). Strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing principles, and financial regulations. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and MS Excel. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in [insert industry, e.g., construction, healthcare, trading, automotive, etc. i Knowledge of VAT and other local tax regulations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
