Job description
As an Accountant at HSA Contracting, you will be responsible for managing financial records, reconciling bank statements, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data. Your role is essential in supporting the financial decision-making process of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to forecast future revenues and expenses.
Report on the organization's financial status to management, providing suggestions on resource utilization, tax strategies, and budget forecasts.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations by staying informed on legislation, enforcing adherence, and advising management on necessary actions.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant.
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Hands-on experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks.
Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
