We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Accountant with proven experience in UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and comprehensive accounting operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and supporting the organization's financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
Prepare and post journal vouchers (JVs) and other accounting entries with precision.
Execute month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, including preparation and submission of returns.
Oversee inventory accounting and coordinate periodic stock audits.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management reviews.
Collaborate with auditors and facilitate internal and external audits.
Candidate Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the UAE.
Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and local accounting practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
