Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain
project cost reports
, tracking actual vs. budgeted costs
Manage
job costing
,
bill of quantities (BOQ) analysis
, and project-based financials
Handle
petty cash transactions
, reconciliation, and monthly reporting
Oversee
payroll preparation
, employee salaries, end-of-service benefits, and leave settlements
Record and track
construction-related expenses
, including subcontractors, suppliers, materials, and labor
Process and review
supplier invoices, progress payments, and subcontractor claims
Monitor
cash flow
related to ongoing projects and general operations
Generate monthly
financial reports, profit/loss statements, and project-specific summaries
Ensure accurate and timely
account reconciliations
including retention, advances, and mobilization
Support compliance with
tax regulations (VAT, WHT, etc.)
and internal financial policies
Assist in
year-end closing
and coordinate with external auditors
Maintain proper documentation for all
project and office-related transactions
Work closely with the site team and project managers to ensure financial accuracy and control
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum 5 years of accounting experience in the construction industry
Strong knowledge of
cost control, job costing, and contract accounting
Proficiency in accounting software such as
QuickBooks
Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
A background in working with
contracting, engineering, or construction firms
is
