Position: Accountant

Location: Abu Dhabi - UAE

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting tasks for various clients Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Reconcile bank statements and maintain general ledgers Assist in preparing VAT returns and tax filings Support clients with budgeting and cash flow analysis Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements Liaise with auditors, clients, and internal teams as needed Conduct audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Manage accounts payable and receivable processes. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support. Assist in inventory management and cost control initiatives. Support the team in various accounting tasks as needed.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of [2-3] years of relevant accounting and bookkeeping experience Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Odoo, Xero, Zoho Books, or similar) Excellent understanding of accounting principles and local tax laws. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines
Preferred

Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is a plus Experience working in an accounting or consultancy firm
