We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years of relevant experience within the UAE. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Zoho applications and solid knowledge of UAE financial regulations and labor law are essential. Key Responsibilities: o Assist in day-to-day accounting tasks including data entry, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations. o Manage accounts payable and receivable. o Support in monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings. o Prepare financial reports as per senior accountant or management requirements. o Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies. o Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. o Assist in VAT filings. o Support audit preparations and coordination with external auditors. o Use QuickBooks for accounting and reporting. o Outgoing personality for submissions and collections.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. o Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in the UAE. o Hands-on experience with QuickBooks is mandatory, and Zoho application. o Strong understanding of UAE labor laws and financial regulations. o Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team. o Strong communication and reporting skills. Preferred Qualifications: o Experience in handling VAT submissions, and financial audits. o Exposure to other accounting software and tools is a plus. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
