Responsibilities:
Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Maintain and update general ledger accounts and prepare journal entries.
Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Ensure compliance with tax requirements and assist with the preparation of tax returns and audits.
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, or similar role.
Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Knowledge of accounting regulations and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA certification or progress toward CPA is a plus.
Experience with [e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP] is desirable.
