Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for managing the company's financial records, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role requires an individual with a deep understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and the ability to handle complex financial transactions. The ideal candidate will hold an ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) or CA Inter(Chartered Accountant) qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial statements. Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP). Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

Tax Compliance and Planning:

Prepare and file corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and international tax regulations. Advise on tax implications of business decisions and transactions. Manage VAT, GST, and other indirect tax filings. Liaise with tax authorities and external auditors during tax audits.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis.

Internal Controls and Audits:

Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial data. Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay updated with changes in tax laws and accounting standards and ensure the company's financial practices align with legal requirements. Prepare and submit statutory financial statements and reports.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
