Description: Starting Wage $17.00 to $18.00 per hour DOE SUMMARY Interview customers and record interview information by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned. Communicate with customers by phone, email, mail, fax and in person, process Requests for Quotes (RFQs), process orders, and handle general customer concerns in a fast-paced engineering office. Enter quotes and sales orders into Epicor E-10 ERP software. Contract review of all new orders. Follow up on scheduled order process and maintain timely communications with customers regarding these orders. Handle expedites as liaison between customer and production group. Request material pricing for engineering during the quoting process. Understand CAD drawings and plastic materials helpful. Coordinate technical communication between customers and Management, Engineering, Production, Sales, Accounting and Shipping departments. Coordinate technical liaison services between customers and Management, Production Department, Sales Department, and Technical Department. Record, analyze, and process and product rejects or quality concerns with production and quality control departments for timely disposition and remediation. Responsible for the maintenance of customer and distributor correspondence files. Input sales orders into Epicor E-10 ERP software. Ability to communicate effectively. . MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
