A leading University in higher education, is seeking a visionary and experienced

Academic Dean

to lead the

School of Information Technology

. This role requires a strategic academic leader who can manage curriculum development, student enrollment, accreditation processes, and faculty leadership--while leading with empathy and firm decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Provide academic and operational leadership for the School of IT. Oversee curriculum design, program development, and academic quality. Lead student recruitment, retention, and enrollment strategies. Ensure compliance with national and international accreditation standards (e.g., ABET, CAA). Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and academic staff. Foster a culture of academic excellence, innovation, and student success. Build partnerships with industry and other academic institutions.

Required Qualifications

PhD in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of academic experience, including leadership at the department or faculty level. Demonstrated success in curriculum design, student enrollment, and accreditation. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead with empathy, while maintaining high academic and ethical standards. Experience working in a multicultural and dynamic academic environment.
