Main responsibilities:
Prepare bill of entry and arrange clearance of air for import / export as per requirement.
Arrange customs inspection if required, customs clearance and payments.
Co-ordinate with Transport department for the delivery of spares and other cargo delivery.
Check cargo before delivery for damages shortages etc.
Report damages/ shortages to BAS / customs and obtain reports as applicable.
Submitting customs documents for duty repayment for temporary import shipments.
Prepare Clearing & Forwarding job costing.
Arrange e-filing of the documents.
Any other responsibility as per management requirements.
Adherence to the company's health and safety rules and protocols.
Qualification and Mandatory requirements:
High School Degree
Valid Customs Clearance License
Bahrain market knowledge
Familiar with Bahrain Customs Regulations and Bahrain Int'l port and airport rules.
Good interpersonal skills
Strong communication skills
Fluent in English both in verbal and writing
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (using words, excel and presentation).
Strong in email correspondences and management.
Bahraini nationals only
Accountabilities: Smooth running of the shipment's clearing operations. Compliance with schedules and meeting deadlines.
