Job Summary:

Heavy Machinery Viqa LLC (HMV)

is a leading company in the UAE specializing in the

manufacturing, servicing, and supply of crushers, screens, and related heavy machinery

for the recycling, mining, and quarrying sectors. Our workshop plays a critical role in the fabrication and structural assembly of components that power some of the region's most demanding crushing and screening operations.

We are currently seeking a

Workshop Supervisor

with hands-on experience in

fabrication, manufacturing, and steel structures

, particularly in the assembly and support structures for

crushing and screening equipment

.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage daily workshop operations related to

steel fabrication, welding, and manufacturing

. Allocate Jobs based on priority tasks. Ensure jobs are carried out according to engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Oversee

planning and coordination of logistics

, including

loading and offloading of materials and equipment

. Allocate tasks to workshop personnel and monitor work progress to ensure timely completion. Ensure proper handling, usage, and maintenance of workshop tools, machines, and safety equipment. Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with all manufacturing and welding standards. Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and procurement teams for seamless workflow and material availability. Maintain records of production, material movement, staff allocation, and job tracking. Provide technical support and leadership to team members on manufacturing and fabrication methods. Enforce HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and ensure a safe working environment at all times.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

(required). Minimum

7 years of experience

in a workshop environment with exposure to

manufacturing, welding, and fabrication

operations. Strong understanding of

manufacturing processes

, welding techniques, steel structure assembly, and production planning. Hands-on experience in supervising workshop teams and equipment handling. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specs. Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills. Familiarity with HSE standards and workshop safety protocols.

Preferred:

UAE/GCC experience in a similar role. Knowledge of ISO, OSHA, or other quality and safety systems. Basic proficiency in MS Office and workshop management tools.

Pay: From AED6,500.00 per month
