Manage the day-to-day operations of the workshop store/parts room. Maintain accurate inventory records using a manual system or inventory management software. Conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts) and full stock-takes, reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts, tools, and consumables to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages (stock-outs). Apply inventory control methods such as FIFO (First-In, First-Out) to manage stock rotation and minimize obsolescence/wastage. Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming deliveries of parts, materials, and equipment. Proficient in MS Excel.
