Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily workshop operations and allocate jobs to mechanics/technicians. Ensure timely and cost-effective maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles. Diagnose vehicle issues and provide technical guidance to the team. Maintain high standards of quality control and ensure all repairs meet company and manufacturer specifications. Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workshop. Plan preventive and routine maintenance schedules to minimize vehicle downtime. Manage spare parts inventory, order replacements, and track usage. Coordinate with procurement, fleet, and operations teams for seamless service. Train, mentor, and evaluate workshop staff to improve efficiency and technical skills. Maintain detailed records of repairs, costs, and workshop activities. Prepare and submit reports on workshop performance, costs, and productivity. Support management in

attracting and retaining new customers for the workshop

by offering excellent service standards and exploring new business opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related field. Minimum

5 years of experience

in automotive repair and maintenance, with at least

2 years in a supervisory role

. Strong technical knowledge of petrol, diesel, and hybrid vehicle systems. Experience in fleet management, garage operations, or rental car maintenance preferred. Proficiency in diagnostic tools and workshop management systems. Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate between technical staff and management.

Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships and contribute to growing the workshop's client base.
