Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced

Workshop Supervisor / Foreman

to oversee the daily operations of our auto repair garage. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing technicians, ensuring timely and quality repairs, maintaining safety standards, coordinating workflow, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and Coordinate

: Oversee the activities of mechanics and technicians.

Job Scheduling

: Schedule and assign jobs to technicians based on their department and garage workload according to delivery time.

Quality Assurance

: Ensure all repair and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.

Quality Control

: Conduct quality control checks and road tests when required.

Troubleshooting

: Handle escalations, troubleshoot difficult repair cases, and assist technicians as needed.

Communication

: Communicate with Service Advisors and customers to explain issues and services performed.

Inventory Management

: Monitor inventory of tools, parts, and supplies; order as needed.

Work Environment Maintenance

: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment.

Reporting

: Prepare daily/weekly reports and maintain service records.

Regulatory Compliance

: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications

Experience

: Minimum 10 years of experience in auto repair, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Technical Knowledge

: Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic systems.

Skills

: Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Decision Making

: Ability to handle pressure and make quick decisions.

Software Proficiency

: Proficient in garage management software and Microsoft Office.

Driving License

: Valid UAE driving license (Must).
Working Conditions

Schedule

: 6 days a week (timings as per company policy).

Availability

: Must be available in case of emergency jobs or operational needs.

Pay: AED4,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:

Supervisor: 5 years (Preferred) Senior Technician: 5 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:

UAE Driving license (Preferred) Any Certification in Auto industry (Preferred)
