through strong technical leadership, governance, and people management, ensuring full compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, and OEM standards. The Workshop Engineer is responsible for delivering high-quality, cost-effective maintenance and repair services while optimizing asset utilization, minimizing downtime, and ensuring uninterrupted business operations.
Technical Leadership
Lead and oversee the dismantling, inspection, repair, testing, and assembly of farm machinery, equipment, and engines, including tractors and loaders across multiple OEMs such as
John Deere, CAT, JCB, Volvo, MAN, and Mercedes-Benz
.
Provide expert guidance in advanced fault diagnosis using structured methodologies and OEM/PC-based diagnostic systems to resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Quality & Documentation
Ensure all maintenance and repair activities meet defined quality standards, OEM specifications, and safety requirements.
Review, complete, and approve accurate technical documentation, including inspection reports, strip reports, and test records.
Process & Continuous Improvement
Identify, recommend, and implement improvements to maintenance processes, repair capabilities, and workshop efficiency to enhance reliability, cost control, and turnaround time.
Operations & People Management
Manage day-to-day workshop operations, including job planning, resource allocation, and workflow optimization to ensure timely and efficient service delivery.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and support staff through coaching, on-the-job training, and performance guidance, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Governance & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with corporate policies, regulatory requirements, OEM standards, and HSE guidelines through effective implementation, monitoring, and continuous compliance reviews.
Qualifications & Experience
Technical Diploma or ITI
Minimum 3 + years of experience in a wastewater treatment, water treatment plant worked as maintenance technician or maintenance lead/supervisor with hands on experience.
