Job Description

Perform skilled carpentry work in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of wooden furniture, joinery components, and interior fit-out items, maintaining high standards of quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities

:

Read and interpret shop drawings, sketches, and material specifications. Measure, cut, and shape wood, boards, and laminates according to project requirements. Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, doors, partitions, and other wooden structures. Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely and efficiently. Perform tasks like sanding, trimming, fitting, and edge-banding where necessary. Ensure all components are fabricated and installed with precision and proper alignment. Conduct repairs, modifications, and touch-ups on wooden items as needed. Collaborate with the production team to meet daily and weekly targets. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Report any defects, shortages, or technical issues to the supervisor immediately. Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

:

Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a carpenter in the joinery or furniture manufacturing industry. Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings. Proficiency in handling woodworking tools, machines, and materials. Good knowledge of carpentry techniques, hardware, and assembly methods. Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and finishing.
