We are seeking a skilled Joinery Wood Carpenter with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the UAE. The ideal candidate must be proficient in furniture making, interior fit-out works, and custom joinery production, with strong knowledge of carpentry tools, machinery, and materials used in the UAE market.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plywood, MDF, veneer, and other joinery materials.
Fabricate and install doors, cabinets, wardrobes, wall panels, counters, and custom furniture.
Perform on-site installation and finishing works as per project requirements.
Operate carpentry tools and machinery such as circular saws, planers, routers, and sanders.
Ensure accuracy, precision, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and other tradesmen.
Follow safety standards and comply with company policies.
Repair and refurbish wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings when required.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong experience in joinery and custom woodworks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Knowledge of carpentry tools, machines, and joinery hardware.
Understanding of different types of wood, laminates, veneers, MDF, and finishing materials.
Ability to read drawings and execute with precision.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Time management and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of UAE experience in joinery or carpentry.
Secondary education or vocational training in carpentry/joinery.
Knowledge of site and workshop-based joinery works.
