Our Brick and Mortars are Kababji Grill, Sushi Art, Joga, Rosa\'s Thai, Cocotte, and Tortilla. Our services have also expanded in 2020 beyond Brick & Mortars to include Cloud Kitchens and wide expansion in Virtual Brands. Eathos currently operates in more than 41 branches across the 2 countries with 5 Cloud Kitchens and up to 15 Virtual Brands As a Wok Chef, you will ensure all produce is prepared/cooked ready for service. The menu has an Asian influence so you will ideally have experience of working with Oriental styles of cooking. What you will do:
  • Understand all company policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and guidelines.
  • Must arrive on time, in uniform, and ready to work for each shift.
  • Set up of all ingredients for wok, grill, and saut\xc3\xa9 menu items according to station prior to beginning of service.
  • Prepare all wok menu items to recipe specification safely, and efficiently.
  • Food items are placed in the window and are at their peak temperature and appearance.
  • Follows \xe2\x80\x9cFirst In, First Out (FIFO)\xe2\x80\x9d process for prepared foods, clean containers, labeled with date prepared and in proper rotation.
  • Restock, organize, and maintain the back up of all ingredients, does not run out of product.
  • Responsible for teamwork with other stations, inter-station timing and communication.
  • All items are placed into clean containers, labeled with date, and stored in the walk-in at the end of the shift.
  • Willingness to learn how to prepare multi-Asian menu items.
  • Always maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Fill in where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations.
  • Must be able to handle high-volume of production during lunch and dinner rushes.
  • Has a positive attitude and works well with others.
  • Completes all opening and closing duties for assigned workstation.
  • Communicates with management of product shortages or broken equipment.
  • Complies with all municipal food safety regulations.
  • Any additional duties or special projects as requested by management.
  • Additional to the above-mentioned requirements you are expected to accomplish tasks and duties outside of your scope of work as always required by work demand.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a Wok Chef in high volume Restaurant.
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe by weighing and measuring ingredients.
  • Advanced knife handling, saut\xc3\xa9, fry, steam, and wok experience.
  • Ability to understand both written and spoken English.
