Job Description

Eram Talent, a leading independent Talent Acquisition Consultancy in the Oil & Energy Industry, is currently seeking a highly motivated Welding Inspector to join our team. As a Welding Inspector at Eram Talent, you will be responsible for ensuring quality and safety compliance at various job sites, including inspections, testing, and coordination with contractors.

Responsibilities

Inspect welding work for weldment quality, size, and conformance to specifications and standards Interpret project specifications, procedures, and welding requirements to assure compliance with codes and standards Perform non-destructive tests to examine welds for defects and discontinuities Monitor welding performance and provide guidance to contractors as needed Collaborate with project managers, engineering, and other personnel to resolve welding related issues Prepare and maintain welding related documentation and records Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations Requirements At least 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably in the Oil & Energy industry Valid welding inspector certification from an accredited organization Extensive knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including ASME, API, and AWS Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and weld mapping software
