Job Description

Element has an opportunity for a Welding Inspector who will be primarily responsible for managing welding inspection operations for various projects across the region. This role will be based in Dammam, KSA and will require travel across various project sites in and around Dammam, within KSA

Responsibilities

Responsible for witnessing, conducting & evaluating the Welding Procedure Qualification test on site Responsible for witnessing, conducting & evaluating the Welder / Welding Operator Qualification test on site Responsible for preparation of NDT & PWHT request on site & submitting along with the Qualification test coupons to Subcontractor Responsible for preparation of Mechanical test request on site & submitting along with job file to his line supervisor Responsible for the operational support of all activities connected to Welding Procedure Qualification test and Welder / Welding Operator Qualification test Responsible for preparation of Welding Procedures (PQR's) Responsible for preparation of Welder Certificates & ID Cards Skills / Qualifications

Mechanical Engineering graduate / diploma holder PQR and WQT approved Holding certification in CSWIP 3.1 2-3 year inspection experience in a relevant work environment Strong and determined quality focus with indefatigable determination to get the job done under the most challenging conditions Aramco approved RTFI-II Possess exceptional communication skills #LI-SR1 Company Overview
