Job Description
Welders are responsible for designing, cutting, and permanently joining metal parts together through the application of appropriate welding techniques. Work entails fusing metal materials together using high heat equipment and welding processes such as MIG, TIG, and electric arc welding.
Key Position Accountabilities
Read Welding procedures and understand welding process. Withdraw suitable welding consumables from stores as per WPS. Welding of pipes and structural items as per welding process specified in the WPS. Baking of electrodes and handling of welding consumables. Perform back gouging where applicable. Provide proper connections to welding machines, Holders, gauges, and tools. Safe handling of welding gases and tools/grinders. Grinding and cleaning/Dress up of the work pieces & welds Capable of using various welding gauges and measuring tapes/instruments. Ensure clean workplace and equipment. Maintain safety regulations and obey company safety rules and performs other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
Experience:
* Oil and Gas Equipment Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)
