Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled

Welder Fabricator

to join our workshop team, specializing in the maintenance, fabrication, and repair of

truck mixers

,

concrete pumps

, and related heavy equipment. The ideal candidate should have strong welding skills, good knowledge of fabrication techniques, and experience working with heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and fabrication tasks on truck mixer drums, hoppers, chutes, and concrete pump structures. Fabricate new parts, frames, and supports according to workshop drawings or specifications. Carry out structural repairs on worn or damaged equipment. Modify equipment based on operational needs and engineering drawings. Use appropriate hand tools, power tools, and workshop machinery (e.g., cutting machines, grinders, drills). Conduct visual inspections of welds and structures to ensure quality and safety standards. Work closely with mechanics, painters, and other workshop staff to complete projects on time. Maintain a safe and clean working environment according to company health and safety policies. Accurately complete work orders and maintenance reports. Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery modifications as required.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator, preferably in the heavy equipment or construction vehicle sector. Proficient in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques. Strong knowledge of fabrication methods, including cutting, bending, and assembling metal components. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols. Good understanding of health and safety standards related to welding and workshop operations. Physically fit and able to handle heavy materials and tools. Certification in welding (preferred but not mandatory). Experience with truck mixers, concrete pumps, or similar equipment (highly desirable).

Education:

Technical diploma or certificate in welding/fabrication or a related field.

Preferred Skills:

Basic mechanical knowledge of truck mixers and concrete pumps. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
