Welders
perform various functions, including:Utilizing plasma, gas, or electric arc to weld metallic and composite materials together. Heating and dissolving metal parts to obtain molten substance used in welding or extrusion. Overseeing the installation of tank linings, valves, lead pipes, and floors.
Conducting x-ray, hydrostatic, and tolerance tests on welded parts to verify weld quality and conformance to specification.
