Job Description
Job Summary:
The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and mobility equipment components according to technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards. This role is key to ensuring that all Gilani Mobility products meet the company's high-quality standards for strength, safety, and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute welding and fabrication tasks (steel, aluminium, stainless) according to design drawings, specifications, and standards Cut, shape, assemble, and join metal parts using various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc, etc.) Interpret fabrication and assembly drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications Perform finishing work (grinding, sanding, smoothing) to prepare fabricated parts Work closely with mechanical design / engineering team to ensure fit, tolerance, and accuracy Inspect welds and quality of output; identify defects and perform corrective action Maintain workshop equipment, tools, and safety protocols Ensure compliance with safety, welding, and fabrication standards
Ideal Qualifications / Skills:
Certification or diploma in welding / fabrication / mechanical trades Proven experience in welding / fabrication in industrial / mobility / automotive settings Proficiency in reading technical drawings Good hand-eye coordination, physical stamina Safety awareness, ability to operate workshop equipment
