The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise. Webscalers specificlly gained more power and importantce in this era. they became crucial in everybody's life and the relying on them became more and more. The Webscalers themselves found it necessary to move closer to the customer. Thus statring to build fiber all around the world and datacenters to come closer and closer to their users. Sometimes even inside the networks of teh service providers. Cauing things to change dynamically as they request stringent KPIs. In Middle East and Africa (MEA) we see this effect. We see webscalers rushing to surrond Africa with Fiber and in the same time asking for connectivity in different forms from teh servcies providers. Oportunities from both sides for all the NI portfolio The candidate will work in the IP Business Center withint he MEA Remote Business Center (RBC) and will be responsible for business development on Webscalers
What you will learn and contribute to
This role will be our key to unlock the opportunities with Webscalers. A MEA role that will be responsible to talking to Webscalers and translating their plans into business for Nokai IP BG. Whether this business is directly with the webscaler or through our service providers partners.
The role will need:
- A team player that will work via other business development and delivery teams to achieve
- it is a MEA role so a lot of traveling will be needed.
- Facing CX level and able to discuss and debate technical with the webscalers and service providers gurus.

Your skills and experience
From the above it is clear that we are looking for a unique talent and thus:
- Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS is mandatory
- deep knowledge of Datacenters and its concepts and technologies
- knowledge about the cloud and its stack
- Familiar with Automation concepts
- knowledge of our IP and DC portfolio is preferred
- Network security knowledge
- English is a must
- Arabic and French are preferred
- Deep knowledge of IP/MPLS is mandatory
