We are looking for a skilled Water Tank Technician with 1-2 years of hands-on experience in the installation, cleaning, maintenance, and repair of water storage tanks. The ideal candidate should have strong technical abilities, good troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality service.
Key Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in
water tank cleaning, maintenance, or plumbing-related work
.
Working knowledge of
overhead, underground, PVC, RCC, and stainless-steel water tanks
.
Ability to operate
high-pressure cleaning machines, suction pumps, and standard hand tools
.
Understanding of
water inlet/outlet lines, float valves, motors, and leak detection
.
Familiarity with
safety protocols
, including confined-space entry and proper use of PPE.
Ability to identify tank-related issues such as
sediment buildup, contamination, cracks, and faulty fittings
.
Basic knowledge of
water disinfection methods
such as chlorination or approved cleaning chemicals.
Strong
problem-solving skills
and the ability to diagnose and repair water flow issues.
Physically fit to work in
tight spaces, climb heights, and lift equipment
as required.
Good
communication and customer service skills
to explain work performed and provide recommendations.
Ability to complete
maintenance logs, inspection reports, and service documentation
accurately.
