Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections to check for any signs of dirt, algae growth, sediment build-up, or damage to the tank. Assess the tank for any leaks or structural issues that could compromise the water quality. Remove dirt, debris, and sludge that may have accumulated at the bottom of the tank. Use appropriate tools, such as high-pressure water hoses, brushes, and scrapers, to clean the walls and floor of the tank. Apply safe, non-toxic disinfectants or sanitizing agents to kill bacteria, algae, and other harmful organisms. Drain the tank completely to remove any residual water and ensure effective cleaning. Properly dispose of waste water or contaminants that are removed from the tank. Report any malfunctions or damages to the equipment for repairs. Follow all safety protocols to prevent accidents, including wearing protective clothing, gloves, and using safety harnesses if working at heights. Ensure that the tank is isolated from the water supply system during cleaning to prevent contamination. Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, including dates, methods used, and Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials, such as chemicals or sludge, in accordance with environmental regulations.

Experience

: Minimum 2/3 years

Previous Cleaning Experience

: While formal experience is not always mandatory, having prior experience in cleaning water tanks, industrial tanks, or similar environments is often preferred.

Knowledge of Water Systems

: Understanding the basic functioning of water tanks, plumbing systems, and water filtration can be advantageous.

Equipment Handling

: Familiarity with cleaning equipment like high-pressure water hoses, brushes, scrapers, and disinfectants is important.
