Job Description

Job Summary:
The Warranty Administrator processes and submits warranty claims accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with manufacturer guidelines. They act as a liaison between service departments, customers, and manufacturers to resolve warranty-related issues.
Key Responsibilities: * Warranty Claims Processing:

  • Review and verify warranty claims for accuracy and completeness.
  • Submit claims to manufacturers within required timeframes.
  • Follow up on pending or rejected claims and make necessary corrections.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
  • Ensure all warranty work complies with manufacturer policies.
  • Maintain detailed records of warranty claims, approvals, and rejections.
  • Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., warranty labor hours, parts usage).
  • Customer & Dealer Support:
  • Assist service advisors and technicians with warranty-related questions.
  • Communicate warranty coverage details to customers.
  • Handle disputes or discrepancies regarding warranty claims.
  • Manufacturer Relations:
  • Stay updated on manufacturer warranty policies and updates.
  • Attend training sessions or workshops on warranty procedures.
  • Administrative Duties:
  • Track warranty reimbursement and follow up on unpaid claims.
  • Assist in audits and provide documentation as needed.
  • Work with accounting to reconcile warranty payments.
