:We are seeking a vigilant and responsible Warehouse Security Guard to join our team. The Warehouse Security Guard plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our warehouse facilities, assets, and personnel. This position requires diligence, integrity, and the ability to handle security-related tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: Access Control:Monitor and control access to the warehouse premises, verifying the identity of individuals and vehicles entering and exiting.
Enforce access policies and procedures to prevent unauthorized entry. Surveillance and Monitoring:Conduct regular patrols and monitor surveillance cameras to detect any unusual activities, security breaches, or suspicious persons.
Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents. Safety Checks:Inspect and maintain security equipment, including cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
Report any malfunctions or issues to the appropriate authorities for repair. Incident Reporting:Document all security-related incidents, including thefts, accidents, or any unusual occurrences.
Prepare and submit detailed incident reports for internal use and, when required, for law enforcement. Emergency Response:Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical incidents, or natural disasters, following established safety protocols.
Provide assistance to emergency services when necessary. Property Protection:Safeguard warehouse assets, including inventory, equipment, and vehicles.
Implement security measures to prevent theft, vandalism, or damage to property. Skill Requirements: Vigilance: The ability to maintain a high level of alertness and awareness to detect security threats or suspicious activities. Integrity: A strong sense of honesty and adherence to ethical standards, as the role often involves handling sensitive information and assets. Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication is essential for interacting with colleagues, visitors, and authorities. Physical Fitness: Security guards may need to conduct regular patrols and respond to physical incidents, so physical fitness is crucial. Emergency Response: Knowledge of emergency procedures, first aid, and CPR is valuable in case of accidents or medical emergencies.
