Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, customer accounts (installations in the market), including new installation up to six months out from delivery
Prepares and submits quotes to customers
Prepares purchase orders to reorder needed parts
Prepares purchase orders for emergency orders
Enters receipt and distribution of parts/supplies into computer to update automated inventory records
Answers correspondence from internal and external customers in a professional manner
Pulls parts and completes paperwork necessary for the shipping department to quickly get needed parts to internal and external customers
Ensures that the service department, field service technicians, are adequately supplied with all parts and materials as needed at all times
Ensures all parts service orders are accurate, complete and submitted in a timely manner
Consistently maintains a high level of professionalism when working with internal and external customers
Regularly improve and update product knowledge by participating in educational and product training opportunities
Creates Credit Memos/Service Return Orders for parts being returned and assures they are correctly returned to inventory
Responsible for the parts & components, storage layout, proper and safe storage, accurate counting of stock on hand, and warehouse security
Establishes individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover warranty parts are properly tagged and processed so that the company recovers full credit from the OEM factory and I or parts component manufacturer
Perform other such tasks as needed and as requested.
Works closely with Service administrator to ensure that parts warranty submissions are processed correctly.

Any degree/diploma in the relevant engineering discipline.
