Waitress / Waiter
Primary Objective: To be the primary point of contact for guests, providing a seamless and enjoyable dining experience from greeting to payment. This role is the face of the restaurant and is critical for customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Guest Service & Hospitality:

• Warmly greet guests upon their arrival and escort them to their table.
• Present menus, announce daily specials, and answer any questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
• Provide genuine, friendly, and attentive service throughout the meal.
• Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to requests.

2. Order Management:

• Accurately take food and beverage orders, entering them directly into the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
• Relay specific orders, allergies, and special requests clearly to the kitchen and bar.
• Serve food and beverages to the correct guest in a timely manner.

3. Table & Section Management:

• Maintain a clean, organized, and properly set table throughout the service.
• Monitor table turnover and manage the flow of service in your assigned section.
• Clear plates, glassware, and silverware as courses are completed.

4. Payment Processing:

• Present the check to guests in a timely manner.
• Accurately process cash, credit card, and other forms of payment.
• Handle financial transactions responsibly and reconcile sales at the end of the shift.

5. Teamwork & Communication:

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding timing, 86'd items, and special orders.
• Work closely with Runners and Bussers to ensure efficient service.
• Support colleagues during peak periods.

• Knowledge of food, wine, and beer is a significant advantage.
