Jumeirah Creekside Hotel is a contemporary lifestyle hotel located 2km from Dubai International Airport in the heart of old Dubai. Set in landscaped grounds overlooking Dubai Creek, the hotel offers 292 rooms and suites, 21 meeting rooms, four restaurants, an award-winning spa and access to sports and leisure complex, The Aviation Club. Designed from the outset to connect the hotel to the region\'s vibrant arts and cultural heritage, Jumeirah Creekside Hotel houses one of Dubai\'s largest art collections - a specially commissioned collection of 482 pieces by 52 artists with roots from the Middle East. About the Job:

Attending to guests by welcoming and seating them. Cater to their requirements by taking food and beverage orders, serving food and beverages to customers and attend to customers\' needs. Communicating the orders to the kitchen effectively, memorizing the menu and offering recommendations to upsell appetizers, desserts, or drinks etc. in line with Jumeirah standard operating procedure.

Main Duties:

• Ensures that all colleagues\' activities adhere to and support the Jumeirah Quality Standards.
• Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
• Provides table and or counter service of all menu items.
• Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
• Updates food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties.
• Provides advice on food and beverage to guests.
• Receives and stores food and beverage adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served, and report to the supervisor or assistant outlet manager.
• Actively uses up-selling techniques to exceed guests\' expectations and increase revenue.

Qualifications

• Male or Female
• Ability to work in a smoky environment.
• Flexible scheduling
• Demonstrates energy and enthusiasm with work.
• Good English communication skills
• Honest and sincere in dealing with colleagues and customers.

• Basic knowledge of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages Basic table service skills

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years in similar position and style of property
• Has been working in a similar place before.
• Has good product knowledge.
• 2-3 years in a Food and Beverage Service outlet in a 5-star property

Skills:

• Knowledgeable in food and beverage service standards
• Up selling skills
• Appropriate customer service skills in a 5-star property
• High awareness on maintaining 5-star standard.
• Knowledgeable on how to use micros.

Competencies:

• Undertake all tasks competently.
• Reports to duty as scheduled and on time.
• Performs tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Can work in a busy place.
• Can handle the pressure.
