As a Waiter, you will be responsible for ensuring customers have a memorable dining experience by delivering exceptional service. You will take orders, serve food and beverages, and ensure a clean, well-organized environment for guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus, provide detailed information about food and beverage items, and make recommendations when necessary.
- Accurately take customer orders, ensuring all special requests are noted and communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Ensure that guests are satisfied with their meals and address any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
- Offer additional menu items (e.g., desserts, drinks) to enhance the guest dining experience.
- Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of the service area, from order taking to food delivery.
- Handle customer complaints or inquiries with professionalism and escalate to the manager when necessary.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the safe and sanitary handling of food and beverages.
- Diploma or bachelors degree in hospitality or any related field.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role (preferably in the hospitality industry.)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Should be 58 in height.
- No visible tattoos.
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and service techniques.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Flexible working hours, including evenings and weekends/ Split shift.
- A valid UAE work permit is preferred (if applicable).
