Job Purpose

The VP Architect is accountable for guarding and influencing the bank\'s enterprise architecture strategy and ensuring that all projects in banks are in alignment with it. The Enterprise Architect VP is also responsible to liaise with the central Enterprise Architecture Office and ensure that the Enterprise Architect management processes, including the Architecture Review Board process, are run efficiently and in a timely manner between Central PMO and central Enterprise Architecture Office.

Key Accountabilities

• Collaborates with Portfolio Heads and Program Managers for the high-level vision of enterprise solutions and initiatives
• Extends the enterprise architecture governance across the bank\'s organization, ensure continuous awareness, education, & alignment to the blueprints
• Participates in enforcing PMO processes such as change management, demand management, etc.
• Act as a POC for understanding and communicating the technology aspects within the office and across the bank
• Participate in architectural initiatives and analysis, supply the EA office with continuous data feeds, potential gaps and improvements
• Participates in the strategy for building and maintaining the architectural runway via communicating strategic themes and other business drivers for architecture, to System and Solution Architects and non-technical stakeholders
• Help in collecting, generating, and analyzing innovative ideas and technologies to use across the business
• Acts as enterprise architecture evangelist cross the bank; ensures the alignment to the blueprints
• Participates in Architecture Review boards as needed to ensure the projects are in alignment with the Enterprise Architecture Roadmap
• Participates in PMO Office governance as needed

Qualifications

Experience and Qualification

• University Degree in IT or equivalent
• Experience in working with Banking industry
• Total experience of 15+ years
• 5-6 years of experience of working as an enterprise architect
• Experience in managing a team size of 1-3 people

Skills

• Experience in architecture change management
• Certifications in TOGAF and Cloud SA (AWS, Azure) are preferred
• Knowledge in enterprise architecture tools, and best practices to drive transformation
• Should have good knowledge in Microservices, SOA and Enterprise Security Architecture
• Should have experience in technical architecture assessment and technology program management
• Should have effective communication skills
• Strong through and people leadership skills with a service delivery and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong decision-making skills with an overall view of ADIS\'s business requirements
• Modelling and analytical skills
• Problem-solving, consensus building, solution realization across various stakeholders
