Job Purpose:
The Senior Technical Data Architect for Data Governance and MDM will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and management of data governance and Master Data Management (MDM) solutions for their organization. Role will be responsible for ensuring that all data assets are well managed, governed, and secure. Overall, the role of a data architect with an MDM and data governance focus is critical to data-driven decision-making and achieving organizational goals. Key Responsibilities
1. The responsibility of a data architect with a focus on master data management (MDM) and data governance is to design and implement strategies that ensure high-quality, consistent, accurate, and trusted master data across an organization.
2. The job involves analyzing and understanding the data needs of various stakeholders, both internal and external, and crafting a MDM solution that aligns with their requirements.
3. A data architect must also play a key role in establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures that guarantee compliance with regulatory requirements, ensure data privacy and security, and mitigate risk.
4. Additionally, the data architect is responsible for identifying and resolving data quality issues, establishing best practices for data management, and implementing technology solutions to enable efficient MDM and data governance processes.
5. Develop and implement master data management solutions, including data models and integration processes.
6. Develop data governance policies and processes, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
7. Lead data discovery and analysis activities, identifying opportunities for data integration and consolidation.
8. Design and implement data quality measures, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data across systems.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data architecture and governance strategies aligned with business objectives.
10. Create, maintain, and document data architecture and governance standards, processes, and procedures. Education

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or master\'s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.

Work Experience

• 15+ years of experience in data architecture and design, with a focus on MDM and data governance.
• Designed and implemented MDM solutions for a variety of domains, including customer, product, and supplier data.
• Solid knowledge of data management concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing.
