About the Role
Implement visual merchandising strategy as per brand guideline; window installation, in store display & product merchandising, internal and external podiums, style mannequins as per theme/direction. Generate in store seasonal & promotional collateral in a given timeframe and cost-effective manner. Maintain VM materials & space to the highest standard.
What Youll Be Doing
Functional Roles & Responsibilities
xc2xb7 To display merchandise in a compelling manner ensuring the brand standards are maintained
xc2xb7 Check that the stock has been steamed, properly tagged and priced as per brand standards & visual guidelines
xc2xb7 Work closely with Buying and Commercial functions to launch seasonal activations in a timely and cost effective manner, install and merchandise all display props as per approved concept whilst creating and enticing display for our customers.
xc2xb7 Adapt brand driven concepts in line with store and mall guidelines
xc2xb7 Use business approved checklist to ensure correct POS is being utilized and the highest possible standards are being maintained
xc2xb7 Monitor slow and fast sellers and communicate observations to the Visual merchandiser with suggestions and recommendations for appropriate actions
xc2xb7 Support with the maintenance of all display equipment and materials used for in store displays, mannequins, windows and podiums. Ensure all items are carefully dismantled, packed and stored for future use
xc2xb7 Attend training sessions conducted by brands and the buying team to ensure display standards are maintained, photograph store for feedback & brand reports when requested
xc2xb7 Conduct VM training sessions with the shop floor teams
xc2xb7 Keep up to date with the latest seasonal trends and conduct regular comparative shops for inspiration and new merchandising ideas/concepts
xc2xb7 Oversee quotations process, production and execution of set ups by internal team and/or external contractors
About You
Education/Certification and Continued Education
xc2xb7 Graduate in any discipline with tertiary qualifications in fine or commercial arts
Years of Experience
xc2xb7 2 - 3 years experience in VM/merchandising role
Functional Skills
xc2xb7 Computer Literacy
xc2xb7 Willingness and ability to work outside office hours and on weekends
xc2xb7 Creative with a passion for retail industry
xc2xb7 Methodical and organized approach with deadline achievement essential
Flexibility in attending business needs through night shifts
