Visual Merchandiser
Job Location : United Arab Emirates
Responsibilities :

• Chiefly responsible for the merchandising of the showroom floor, as directed by the Merchandising Department and as per the needs of the Store Manager.
• Order all supplies for merchandising and promotions, including but not limited to shop fittings, display props, and pricing supplies.
• Responsible for organizing all store maintenance projects.
• Responsible for the quality of all showroom displays.
• Maintain a clean and organized stockroom at all times. Ensures all sold accessories and furniture are identified and tagged.
• Assists in furniture inventory counts and annual accessory inventory.
• Assist in evaluating current products on the sales floor and assist in the offset of furniture displays.
• Educate the store team to exercise creative flexibility that drives business results and maximizes sales.
• Drive sales volume by reacting to sales and Home Fashion trends.
• Works with sales staff to update and keep product information current.
• Seeking feedback from colleagues and customers on the visual impact of displays and implementing changes.
• Perform special assignments as given by the head of the department.

Knowledge, Skill & Competencies :

• Preferably a college degree in fine arts or a diploma in a related field.
• 1-2 years of retail visual merchandising experience.
• Demonstrated ability to practice residential interior design including the ability to design and create dynamic furniture displays using color, space planning, and accessories.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and approach with demonstrated strong design and merchandising skills, furniture knowledge and strong organizational skills.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers, demonstrates an energetic and positive attitude.
• Remain current on design and colour trends to create fashionable design solutions.
• A minimum of two (2) years, combined, practical interior design experience and interior design education.
• Demonstrated ability to train and guide Sales Staff and other support team in terms of merchandising.
• Have a flair for design and colour.
• Be creative, imaginative and energetic.
• Be able to concentrate and work to tight deadlines.
