What You'll Do

• Develop and deliver engaging lessons covering cooking techniques, nutrition, baking, international cuisines, and food safety
• Instruct students on professional kitchen equipment usage, knife skills, and food preparation methods
• Demonstrate and guide students in meal planning, plating, and presentation techniques
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized kitchen classroom environment
• Assess student performance, provide constructive feedback, and support skill development
• Organize and supervise culinary events, competitions, and catering projects
• Collaborate with faculty to ensure curriculum aligns with industry standards and trends
• Manage kitchen inventory, order supplies, and maintain budget control
• Stay current with health regulations, culinary innovations, and best teaching practices

Ideal Profile

• Degree and certification in Home Economics, Hospitality, or a Science-related field
• Minimum 5 years' professional culinary experience; teaching or training experience preferred
• Current food safety certification such as ServSafe
• Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds
• Ability to maintain discipline and high safety standards in a hands-on learning environment
